Caterpillar
Cake - June, 2003 The occasion for this creation was Father's Day. Dolly is in no way insinuating that fathers are creepy bugs that crawl around on the ground. Dolly wants you to know that! |

Fancy
Tiered Cake - June, 2003 This was Dolly's Level 3 project. She learned how to do the fancy hearts and trim in this class. She also learned how to put together a tiered cake without knocking it over! Despite not having a working water fountain inside it, this cake was absolutely stunning. |

Flower Pot
Cake - May, 2003 Dolly actually made two identical Flower Pot cakes for Mother's Day. They were born as conjoined twins, but Dolly separated them shortly thereafter. One was served for dinner with Dolly's family and the other was served for dinner with Dolly's in-laws. Amazingly, they both tasted the same!! |

Basket
Weave Cake - May, 2003 This was Dolly's Level 2 project. She learned how to do the flowers, fences, butterflies, and the basket weave in this class. It was so beautiful that Dolly would not let anyone eat it - it was just too pretty to cut! |

Yellow
Roses Cake - April, 2003 This was Dolly's Level 1 project. Dolly made this cake after learning the secret to making frosting roses. This is a skill that took much time to perfect. And Dolly's husband has the waistline to prove it (hey - someone had to dispose of all the failures!). |

Easter Egg
Cake - April, 2003 This is the first of Dolly's cakes to venture beyond her own kitchen walls. She made this cake for Easter Sunday dinner with the in-laws. Dolly's family can be a pretty tough audience, but this cake was unanimously approved. So now Dolly is obligated to bring cakes to other family functions! |
